Presently Scientific Conference is conducting a Conference at international level on HIV and STDs.  

HIV is an abbreviated form of Human Immunodeficiency Virus. It destroys your immune system and penetrates the white blood cells which are known to fight infection. HIV puts you at risk of certain serious infections, certain cancers, and AIDS, which is the final stage of infection with HIV. HIVs and STDs are spread through unprotected sex with infected persons. It is also spread by way of sharing drug needles, and transmissions of blood from infected donors are some of the main causes for being affected with HIV. Women who are pregnant are found to be HIV positive shall pass on to the newborns. Swollen glands and flu-like symptoms are the first signs of HIV infection. And AIDS is the final phase of HIV infection. Remember, but not all infected with HIV shall suffer from AIDS. Safe protected sex, discarding the use and sharing of drug infected needles, only lab-tested blood should be used in transmission of blood to the needy.

Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs) are infections that occur through sexual contact with persons having infections. When the infected person gets in contact with the healthy person through sex, oral, anal, or vaginal then STDs are contacted. Unprotected sex is also the principal reason for STD infections. Viruses, bacteria, parasites, and yeast causes STDs. There are more than 50 types of STDs that affect both men and women. If a pregnant woman has STD it causes serious health problems for the baby. Antibiotics are used for treating STDs caused by bacteria, yeast and parasites. But antibiotics cannot cure STDs caused by virus. They can only help control the disease from worsening further. Safe protected sex is the only and the best way of preventing STDs from being spread in the society. Finally, people infected with both HIV/AIDS and STDs are facing stigmatization and are treated as outcasts and untouchables by the society. This is very shameful on the part of the society.
